Grilled Chicken with Peach & Sumac Glaze

DESCRIPTION A sweet and tangy glaze using EU canned peaches and sumac over grilled chicken — a fusion of Levantine spices and fruit.

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup EU canned peaches (mashed)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a blender, mix peaches, sumac, molasses, and lemon zest into a glaze.
  • Grill chicken until nearly done, brushing with the peach glaze during the last 5 minutes.
  • Serve with rice or bulgur and a cucumber-yogurt salad.
